Job Description

Guild President

  • Preside over Business Meetings.
  • Preside over Board of Directors Meetings.
  • Appoint committees as necessary.
  • Serve as ex-officio member of all committees.
  • Responsible for seeing that the annual non-profit form is filed with Secretary of State and that the required tax forms are filed on an annual basis.
  • Arrange for the Installation Meeting.
  • Appoint a nomination committee in May.
  • Appoint and serve as a member of the audit committee (which meets in August).
  • Appoint and serve as a member of the budget committee (which meets in June).
  • Write a column for the newsletter.
  • Recruit other guild members to help committee chairpersons as needed.
  • Track the use of guild equipment.
