Job Description

Membership Chair

  • Coordinate membership renewal and addition of new members by:
    • Placing name and address of members in membership binder.
    • Recording payment in membership binder.
    • Compiling names of all members in the membership roster.
    • Issuing membership cards.
    • Providing a copy of the member handbook to new members.
  • Submit dues for deposit to Treasurer.
  • Provide roster to Newsletter Chairperson if needed.
  • Provide list of new members and changes to the Newsletter Team for publication.
  • Notify members in writing of delinquent dues as required by By-Laws.
  • Supply pins and name tag packets for sale to members. Assemble packets.
  • Provide temporary name tags for new members.
  • Arrive at least twenty minutes before each meeting.
  • Collect guest fees at Program Meetings and submit them with a cash receipt to the Treasurer for deposit.
  • Prepare copies of the member handbook for new members. Bring these to each meeting.
  • Keeps sign-in sheets.
  • Send renewal letters to affiliate members by July 1st for the upcoming year.
